El próximo 4 de diciembre tendrán lugar a lo largo de todo el mundo actos para celebrar el open data day.
En España el número de actos es bajo comparado con otros países europeos.

La celebración a nivel global está orientadas no sólo a desarrolladores, sino también a diseñadores, bibliotecarios, estadísticos y ciudadanos en general. Mas información en la web de la organización.

We are pleased to send you an open invitation to participate in our upcoming meeting in Rennes. The meeting is jointly organised by Rennes Metropole, Le Conseil Régional Bretagne, Fing, the PSI Alliance, e-mégalis, GFII and ePSIplatform.

Meeting Theme:  Open Data and Re-use: what is happening at local levels in Europe?
Meeting Date: 29th November 9.30 – 17.00 (CET)

With the focus on national data catalogues it is easy to overlook the potential value of local data for economic, social and democratic benefits.  Yet a huge amount is generated locally in the provision of services for citizens.  A network of local data initiatives is now opening up and to encourage this we are holding a meeting in Rennes, a city which has taken a lead in opening up local data. All are welcome and there is no charge for this event.

The Target Audience
The event is aimed at::
Stakeholders that produce data:
* -    Local authorities;
-    National public services;
-    Public organisations, public service providers;
Stakeholders that reuse data:
* -    Private:  national, international, local businesses, start-ups
-    NGOs, citizens
-    Academic: universities, engineering schools, design schools…

La reciente cancelación de la tradicional open source world conference ha dado al traste con los planes de muchos. Sin embargo de la mano de ASOLIF y de Andalibre, se ha recuperado la iniciativa enla forma de la Libre Soft world conference que tendrá lugar el día 27 de Octubre.

Es un buen entorno para aquellas entidades interesadas en las actividades de linked open data puedan debatir sobre el borrador de plan de acción que se ha elaborado.

Abrimos desde este blog la posibilidad de todos aquellos interesados a que se apunten y enviaremos una convocatoria con la hora y el lugar.
